Another month has passed and I am late on my monthly Scout update! He is officially 21 months and talking up a storm! New words are flying out of his mouth every day. My favorite is he has starting calling his brother “soysoy”, which happens to be Sawyer’s nickname at his first preschool.

Scout’s 21-month stats

weight: 30 lbs. – at 20 months he was 29.5 lbs.

height: 34 in. (I think) – at 20 months he was 33.5 in.

clothing:  Mostly 2T, some 18-24 months. Wears a size 7 shoe

diapers: Size 5

eating: Is starting to voice his opinion in the food and drink department. He will eat just about anything at school, but at home is super picky. His favorites are chocolate soy milk, juice “juju”, sting cheese, granola bars, waffles, bananas, and blueberries.

sleeping: sleeps from around 7 p.m. until we wake him around 6:45 a.m. Still takes a nap that is anywhere from 1-3 hours in the afternoon.

teething: All of them are in!

other updates: Interested in the potty now and will ask to go sit on it when he wakes up. He is still singing a lot and some of his favorite songs are “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Tows”, “Row Your Boat”, and “Wheels on the Boat”. All of which, he acts out the motions. He has a favorite book now too and can read it to me, “Brown Bear Brown Bear”. When I ask him each of the animals he can name them or point to them when I ask. He has quite the opinion this month too, and is not afraid to let us know. He says things like “No mine!” and “Not Ralph” when I put something on the TV that is not his favorite movie. It is quite adorable that he has started imitating John and me when we count for his big brother to do something. He will look at Sawyer and say “1, 2, no!” with quite the little attitude. Unfortunately, just like Sawyer at this age, he is starting to show some aggression at school. We are trying our best to nip this before it becomes a problem, but he has had a couple reports of biting.
