still thinks he can fit in the Bumbo
I’m just a couple days late to celebrate Mr. Scout’s 14 months on earth. My new term of endearment for him is “Tank” because he has bulked up and really started to stand up for himself in regards to his big brother. If Sawyer takes a toy, he grunts and grabs it back. He has even been seen tacking Sawyer unprovoked :O Despite those examples, he is such a happy and well-behaved toddler. Very rarely will you find him without a smile on his face.
Him and Sawyer are so close on stats this month (exact weight!), looks like our boys are on the same track. Sawyer was definitely more advanced verbally, but Scout isn’t far behind
Here is Sawyer at 14 months: http://johnkarihamra.blogspot.com/2013/04/his-favorite-face-to-make-sawyer-is.html?m=0
Scout’s 14-month stats
weight: 25 lbs. – at 13 months he was 24 lbs. 5 oz.
height: we think still 31.5-32 inches like last month
clothing: 18-24 months, has even worn a couple 2T shirts. Wears a size 5 and 6 shoe
diapers: Size 5
eating: Yep, still nursing at night. It is just so convenient with bedtime it has been hard to stop. Besides that he eats everything and isn’t really picky. His favorite is probably bananas; he could eat them all day and even asked for them by name “nana”
sleeping: a great sleeper. Ready for bed around 7 pm and sleeps until I wake him at 6:30 am. He take at least one long nap during the day but will take two sometimes as well.
teething: 7 teeth (4 on top and 3 on bottom).
other updates: His communication is really improving, he gives basic instructions of whatever he is wanting. He says “yes” and shakes his head “no”, he points and leads us to what he wants too. He has started showing us his head, belly, and feet. My dad watched him yesterday and asked him if he wanted to go swing and he led my dad outside, so cute!
Here are a few more photos from the month:

He IS a tank! Love it!
